Want us to help make it easy?

Product Eligibility

Quick overview

Equipment Requirements:

  • Batteries must range between 2kWh and 28kWh and be on an approved product list (expected to be the CEC Battery Register).

  • Batteries must be internet-connectable and controllable by a Demand Response Aggregator.

  • Batteries must come with a 10-year warranty, covering at least 70% of usable capacity.
We recommend that you check with your supplier that your chosen battery is eligible.

Checklists

For your BESS1 project to be a success, there are a number of pieces of evidence you'll need to collect for your project submission. We're complied an overview of the evidence you'll need.

Please note: the BESS1 scheme is constantly evolving, and the required evidence is updated from time to time. Contact Fraztec directly for the most up-to-date requirements.

Collecting photographic evidence is one of the most important parts of completing a BESS1 project. There's a variety of images you'll need to take before, during and after the installation of your battery to successfully participate in the BESS1 program. To make getting all required evidence as easy as possible, we've compiled handy checklists. â€‹
